Cutting and cleaning

Title of this post describes the inside and outside of my house going-ons perfectly.

Garett woke up at 7, and we ate a quick breakfast and got ready/sun screened up, etc before the concrete arrived at 8. I think it was apparent to G that the driveway pour was going to be a bit more hectic than the back yard was on Monday. We couldn't walk out the garage or front door because the concrete was being "finished", so we could only come in and out of the patio door. He watched for a bit, and did some hand prints, but in the end, he didn't want to put his handprint in after they stamped, so the one he did do got ruined :(

We didn't spend a ton of time outside for the second half of the front job, and they started cutting in the back, so there was concrete dust blowing around, so had to stay inside :) fine by me since it was flat out HOT out there.

We played playdough, organized the kitchen a bit , put away a bunch of laundry, made some lunch, snacked and watched some cartoons, vaccuumed , played in his room, the nursery, my room lol

We waited for Tyler to get home from his other job and errands, and it was about 4 when he did so. We hung out a bit together until he had to go help his father in law lift a concrete block he made him that morning, so he headed out for 30 mins or so. When he got back, he cut and stained the border on the back patio, sealed the back patio and watered the concrete in the front.

We had dinner around 6 and baked some mini m&m cookies.

Before long it was showers and bedtime. Garett was down very early, Tyler wrote up some estimates on his laptop in bed and I watched an episode of Secret life of the American teenager. I was having a bit of pain from all the pressure of standing so much during the day so Tyler rubbed my back until I fell asleep.
