Hump dayeeee

Today was a tough one. I was up at 5:30AM because I was stressed about Tyler having to call the concrete place at 5:45 (he's bad at waking up lol). He woke up at 6 and cancelled the load. The day was calling for raining way too much heat to pour his job. Which meant family time today :) G woke up at 7:15. We lounged for a bit and then got ready to go to Coras for breakfast. Once our bellies were full,  we headed to Walmart to get me the last of the stuff I needed for the hospital bags. Another lady saw the pads I was buying and flashed her pregnant belly to me too and spoke knowingly of them, as we commiserated with how far along and uncomfortable we both were. She wasn't due for her second until October though. Poor lady!

When we got home, Ty went to the store to get a bit of paperwork done there, while g and I tidied up a bit, vacuumed, had a snack and caught some cartoons. 

When Tyler got home, G took a bath with his new set of bath colour changer tablets.  we headed out shortly after to go for a drive. We went to a quick estimate in Nepean with Ty, and then headed back to Orléans to have dinner at Thai Express and stopped at shoppers drug mart for a few things.

G ate some broccoli, a cheese string and a yogurt tube when he got home (somehow he was still hungry ? Lol) and relaxed a bit. Ty and I took turns taking baths with the new himilayan bath salts we bought and g was in bed early. 

We are working on catching up on the 100 , so we started season 3 finally (we rewatched the last two episodes last night )

Decided on a wine and cheese gathering for my 30th birthday. This was my inspiration. 

G likes to eat at his paw patrol table upstairs now, ever since the sprinkle shower. We should have brought it up sooner!

We got Garett a pump action kids mouthwash station, with a built in cup. He's obsessed. Now he flosses, brushes and mouth washes. The kid has better habits than most adults! Lol


Steve was lying on his back in front of me, purring for no reason. He looooves attention lol


Reading a novel, just like daddy "daddy, what's your page say?!"

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
