Rough nights

We don't have many bad nights sleep wise in this house (because of Garett at least), and I must say since he was 7 weeks old, that's been the way. He's my sleeper. 

But every once in a while he has a "night". Last night was his one night out f the blue. I woke up at 1:45 am to pee. It was almost perfect time because that's when he woke up first. He had peed through his diaper (which lately he's been waking up in the morning with dry diapers , so that was weird ). So , I changed his sheets and laid him back down. I gave him some milk since I thought his belly was getting empty. 

30 minutes later, he cried again because he spilled said milk. So I changed his sheets again. He was pretty awake by then, so I turned on his fish light and said goodnight again. 

Then he fell asleep I think. For about 40 mins it was quiet. Then a howl. "MOMMYYYY!!!" He had a bad dream. I knew it was all over, so I let him come back to our bed. He proceeded to toss and turn for 2 hours until he finally settled around our knees , horizontally across both of us. Oh well. I finally got to sleep too. I woke up at 7:30 to this sight. Ah, my heart. So I let him sleep a bit longer before we got up for daycare. 

We eventually made our way out there, I went home and had some breakfast and put away a load of laundry. 

Shortly after I got ready and headed to the office. Everyone was in a meeting so I didn't stay and chat, but I got my benefit cheques delivered and dropped off my parking pass. I headed home and finished the rest of the laundry! I am caught up completely. Somehow. 

I also did all of the dishes and scrubbed the kitchen counters and then organized tylers dresser. 

I watched a few episodes of Secret life of the American teenager, wrote out my thank you cards from the sprinkle, took out meat for dinner , wrapped the gifts for g to give to the baby and for him to get from the baby and laid in bed for a bit. 

The boys came home around 4:15, and i put some pizza in the oven for g--his request for dinner. And I made some turkey burgers and salad for ty and I to eat. We watched dragons den, while g watched some bubble guppies. 

After dinner we all went outside and played in the dirt and water table while Tyler moved other stuff around and organized more. 

We came in for g to have a bath since he was allllll muddy. We put PJ's on and then played in the basement for a while. 

My hope is that it will be an early night for Garett and the rest of us after snack! lol
