Thursday --errands, heat and an early day!

Yesterday was pretty laid back. It was way too hot to function outside--for me anyways. 

G and I slept in a bit, until around 8, for up, had some scrambled eggs, toast and strawberries. We decided to get dressed and do our errands before it got too sunny and hot. Boy, I'm glad we did! It was so nice out until about 20 minutes before we got home , lol.

We popped into the bank and G learned about ATM machines--longest ATM trip in life , but he enjoyed it haha. Afterwards we ran over to Walmart to pick up a ton of hot dogs and drinks for Sunday. 

The lady ahead of us at the cash was trying to use one of those similac cheques you get in the mail, and the lady working the cash had ZERO clue on how to redeem it. Fun. I always pick that line Lolol

Once we finally got out of there, we made a trip to Toys R Us. I bought the baby a few little toys--her Sophie the giraffe and car seat toys just to have on hand so I feel more prepared lol. I also bought her the sleeper I want to bring her home from the hospital in--turns out as of tomorrow that same sleeper is going to be half off, according to the new flyer. I have impeccable timing bahah

Garett also got a few things. A kinder egg, as per usual , a crusher toy (from Blaze), and a new Lego kit of a police helicopter with and ATM machine (shocking after our adventure to the bank, I know lol)

I didn't have it in me to go anywhere else, and I think g was sick of getting in and out of the car around then. I usually have about three shots and then he gets annoyed with it haha. So we went home, played with his new toys, watched some paw patrol and made a quick snack of cheese, crackers and olives. 

Tyler came home around noon with Lebanese meat and cheese pies for us. We ate together (g wasn't hungry), and then he headed out for another hour or so to polish an outdoor kitchen countertop at the yard. 

G and I looked through flyers together 

And laid down for some quiet time (HA! No naps were had but at least he got some rest in, and I think even that made a big difference on his personality in the afternoon. )

I made him some grilled cheese and fries with some honeydew for lunch. After he devoured that we played all over the house for a bit, and he helped me put away some laundry. 

Tyler took Garett out to shoppers to pick up a few things and played outside for a bit since the sun was starting to go down in the back. So I took a relaxing bath while they did that, and read a few chapters of my book. 

We hung out upstairs for most of the evening , and Tyler and I went shopping on Amazon buying a bunch of random stuff lol Garett was in bed quite early again, so we watched the Cinderella movie from 2015 on Netflix. Tyler fell asleep quickly and I barely managed to push through. 

Around 2 am I heard a little voice yelling "momma, I need you!" And I don't care HOW huge and pregnant you are , when you hear that little voice, you move. Well turns out he was just thirsty and didn't really need anything. So I got him a drink and went back to bed. And laid awake for 3 hours. 

I finally fell back asleep and woke up to tylers alarm at 6:30. At least it looks like they may get rained out today (fingers crossed for me haha ) and may be a daddy, and Garett day while I relax. 

I have my to do list with g, my to do list for me and my to do list for the sprinkle on Sunday I haven't really done much on. A few things with g have been marked off, but that's it haha. Not feeling very productive these days when it's 40 degrees outside !
