Friday and Saturday. Busy errands !

Friday couldn't have come soon enough. I was absolutely pooped from the week. One more week home with g. It wouldn't be so bad if he didn't like to go out and do stuff so much, if I wasn't 36 weeks pregnant, and if it wasn't like 40 degrees all week lol. But enough complaining. 

Friday we woke up around 7:45, had some breakfast and relaxed a bit. Soon after, we headed to the grocery store to pick up the hot dog buns for Sunday, and some more handsoap for Garett's washroom. (Random). While we were there, we ran into my mother in law, visited for a few minutes and then we went our separate ways.

We brought our bags to the car and walked across the parking lot to go to the dollar store. We bought some serving spoons and some more stickers for the potty chart we were going to make. 

Pretty much right after we got home, it started raining. But not enough to accumulate so g could jump in the puddles, so we just had a snack and watched cartoons. 

We tidied up the main floor after since Tyler and our accountant came for a meeting at 1.

After we were done we went to tylers aunts house so he could design the concrete for her backyard, and visited for a while since a few of his aunts were there. 

We headed to Canadian tire after to buy a deck bin for more storage,  and some other random stuff and then headed to tartan pub to have some dinner. We drove around a bit for fun and went to Starbucks for a dessert drink. 

It was around 7:15 when we got home, so I had a bath with Epsom salts , since I was feeling very sore and stiff, and watched an episode of while secret life of the American teenager and the boys played downstairs.  G was in bed early and we followed suit!

Saturday we all got up at 7:30. As we were heading out around 8:30, I tumbled out of the garage door. I didn't hit my belly on anything, but my right ankle landed weird. I got a small sprain. It should be ok in a few days. It has only minor swelling and hardly any bruising. It feels ok to walk on but going up the stairs hurts a bit. I was feeling good enough to head out, so we headed out for breakfast and wanted to go check out the "geek garage sale" in Orléans. Once we got there, there was nothing out. It was post poned until Sunday at the last minute! Grrr. So we drove out to Russell since there was supposed to be three households downsizing and a daycare closing sale. We got all the way there and she told us it was also post poned until Sunday. What a waste of so much driving ! 

Tyler dropped me off at home sfterwards, so I could elevate and ice my foot. He took Garett to cosmic adventures for a few hours to play. When they got home g and I made a poop potty chart (and then he pooped in the toilet three more times, so he's only 3 boxes away from his treat or toy lol--every 10 he gets something), and I put together the tissue paper balls for the sprinkle tomorrow. 

We hung out and played at the house for a bit, I did some laundry and then we headed out to get more Kcups from personal service and checked out that store The Box for some stuff to make punch (it was pretty cheap, but I wouldn't buy any meat or produce there--all the food I looked at was on the brink, or already expired. So I took the club soda, cranberry juice and frozen pink lemonade and booted it out of there lol. Tyler bought a new headset from Canada Computers next door and we headed home! We made a smorgasbord of food for supper, and I mixed the lemonade and cranberry juice in the dispenser to put in the fridge. We will add the club soda tomorrow. 

We all got a bit of a chill in our bones--all the rain really cooled it down outside! So we all took a bath, ate some dessert and relaxed a bit. Garett was really tired around 5, but he pushed through. 

We headed to my mother in laws house so Tyler could read the codes on his stepdads truck, and we had a short visit. Garett was exhausted, so he laid on the bed with a snack until it was time to go to sleep!

I tidied up the toys in Garett's room, put away a load of laundry and we opened all the windows for some fresh air. It didn't last long though because the air was too wet/humid and it's the worst kind of air, we find. So we turned the AC back on instead lol

I put Garett's wheeled toys (scooter, bike, etc) in the garage so the abundance of children coming over for the sprinkle could not get into that stuff. 

We bought some cool outdoor string lights the other day, and need to go back and make a quick kill for stuff to hAng them, and we want more of them, need a taller bird feeder holder, some plants to put in the pots we have, need the shed to come (will put the stuff in the garage in the meantime, and need to get some of the OFF lanterns and citronella torches.  I feel like when the outside stuff is done, I can feel better about the indoors. We are just about comfortable here. 

(Also need a bistro set out front, and a tall light for the walkway portion, but I won't push it too much right now :) especially since we can't park cars on the driveway for a few more days --until Tuesday evening)

Anyways, got off on a tangent there. Hope everyone had a good ending of their work week, and are enjoying their weekends !!
