First day "off" on my own

Monday was back to the grind of daycare for G. I let him sleep until 7:30 and went in to wake him. He did NOT want to wake up, but once he was ready and in the door at daycare, it was like no time had passed. I didn't even get my kiss and hug goodbye :(

I headed to grab some breakfast and went to tys store. We are breakfast together , and I called medisys for my vaccination record to be sent to me. What a pain. Also, an additional $20 for it-- money grab ! Lol but for the price of one, I also had them send me tylers so our doc could have it. 

I headed out and went to Walmart for some diapers and thank you cards. Then I went to get a mani/pedi

I stopped at toys r us for some gifts --first I needed a gift for the baby to give to g (I want him to feel included in the whole process ) and a little something for him to bring his sister :) 

I came home , had some lunch and watched Secret Life of the American Teenager. 

I had to get in touch with service Canada to see if they got my application properly and my ROE from work. Of course the new pay system has managed to even screw that up! Gah! So I guess the second ROE will just take a little longer. Hoping it doesn't screw up my claim. 

Then I wrote out my benefit cheques, and tomorrow I will bring back my parking pass to work and my benefit cheques to my compensation advisor and visit some people at work. 

I did some dishes and a load of laundry and finally my boys came home !

I had to call medisys to complain I didn't receive my records yet (apparently a private clinic is super busy). So I told them I need it for my appt tomorrow at 9:15 so my doc doesn't try and give me the needle again, lol

Tyler had to talk to google  accounts for his search optimization and then the boys went to the park (g rode his tractor and ty walked/jogged behind him lol). 

While they were gone I made dinner (spaghetti at gs request), and we relaxed for the rest of the evening. I updated my to-do list, put away a load of dishes and laundry, and had a shower. 

I suspect it will be an early evening for us all!

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
