Things my two year old says...

Garett is quite an imaginative boy. He comes up with some pretty funny things that always manage to put a smile on my face. Here are some things he has said to get me giggling:

1)
Garett: Wow mommy! Look at the horsies!
Me: those are cows buddy
Garett :no, horsies !
Me: ok , they're horses
Garett: no momma! Those are cows!

2)
Garett:( peeking into the central vac hole) mommy look!! Baby bunnies!
Me: are there baby bunnies in the vacuum hole?
Garett: yes! Look!

3)
Me: what do you want to drink, buddy?
Garett: juice please
Me: what kind of juice ?
Garett: CANDY JUICE. (Referring to fruit punch)

4)
Me and Tyler kiss
Garett: no daddy!!!! That's MY momma!!!stop it!
Garett grabs my face and kisses me

5)
Garett: mommy , what are you doinggg?
Me:making dinner
Garett: awwww! Hrmph!!!! (In a disappointed tone)

6)
Tyler: who are you talking to on the phone, pal?
Garett : (on his toy phone) PA!!! (My dad)
Me: oh yeah? What's Pa have to say?
Garett: he told me get in his car!!
Me: oh, he's picking you up ?
Garett: yeah, in his trunk!!

7)
Me : now when daddy gets home say "nice truck" (the day Tyler picked up the new truck)
Garett: ok!
(Ty walks in)
Garett: EOW!!! Nice truck daddy !!! (And that's all he said over and over all night )

8) picking Garett up from daycare
Me: what did you do today, did you have a good day?
Garett: played out back!
Me: what else?
Garett: played out front !
Me: that sounds fun
Garett: I ripped book !!
(Get home and asked the babysitter..yes he ripped a book, and when she said it's ok she went to throw it away and he yelled "NO, fix it!!!" Haha"

These are just a few of the things that my little dude has done to make me laugh. What has your children done to make you smile?

Life Lately

-Hosting Bearbrook Ladies night two weekends ago was wonderful! I put out a full charcuterie spread, made a mint/cranberry/grapefruit drink to share, and all of us received a tarot card reading, palm read and a facial read. Pretty much the reoccurring consensus between all three reads (it was two different people doing it) was that my heart and mind live in a state of conflict, but that it works for me to live in a state of balance. I deal mostly with logic and facts, and less with emotions; they think I would be good as an analyst (weird, since this is pretty well my role at work), and with numbers (which I also do all day at work lol). -Garett went on his first friend play date ever , and he had so much fun. It was his two best friends that left daycare to start school last year. -happy that while Garett was at his play date, Tyler was home with Keira and I went out for a bit alone, then came home and we finished The Belko Experiment movie before I went to get him. (He was there for two hours) -sad that this week, Garett only has four days left at daycare :( Friday is Keira's first day, while I keep g home with me. Can't believe it's already almost school time!! -as a "goodbye" gift from g, we bought his daycare provider a necklace from peoples that is a heart with some Garnet stones in it (Garett's birthstone), to remember him by, and I ordered an Aukey essential oils diffuser , a doTERRA starter kit and an essential oils mixing guide recipe book thing. Friday fun!

Thank God it's Friday, and that this week is O-V-E-R!!! -It was a stressful week at home. Looking forward to a fun weekend! -I am being audited for child care expenses in 2018--I'm not the only one that thinks we pay too much money in child care! LOL...I submitted my receipts online (they are catching up with the times and it's great!) and turns out I actually underclaimed by a few hundred dollars haha. -Tonight is calm, just hanging at home with the kids. -Saturday I have an eyelash appointment at 2:00, and then we have a sitter coming at 6:00 so we can go to a Wine & Cheese night up the road at our friends house. -Sunday is a day of rest until the evening when Shan comes over and we head into town to go to the Trailer Park Boys Christmas at the NAC (I bought Tyler and I tickets as an early Christmas gift).
